Nicolle Rochelle
Nicolle Rochelle realized that she was born to sing at the age of 5 years old. Soon after announcing the news to her parents she began training in vocal and dance classes and earned her first big role on the USA TV series "Shining Time Station" alongside Ringo Starr. She went on to be a series regular and guest star on many other television shows and musical theatre productions on and off Broadway.
In 2006, Nicolle arrived in France to star as the legendary Josephine Baker in the musical performance «Looking For Josephine» created by Jérôme Savary. After starring in the 4-year international tour performing in 3 different languages, Nicolle has continued her career primarily in Europe singing with
jazz orchestras such as Laurent Mignard Duke Orchestra, The Harlem Drivers, The Hot Antic Band, The Archie Shepp Big Blues Band, The Funk Orchestra, The Barcelona Jazz Orchestra, The Jove Big Band de Girona... She had a special experience in Switzerland where she sang and performed the role of Billie Holiday in theatrical concert productions of Yerba Buena Creole Rice Jazz Band.
Nicolle’s passion for jazz extends to her original projects in actual youth music. She harmoniously adds jazz to hip-hop, house, fusion, and other styles. This way of her creativity is most clearly
manifested in the "Modern GEAIsha" project dedicated to women's rights and topical issues of civil society.

back to the 1930′s ballrooms of Harlem, straight into the golden age of Jazz and making everybody around swing with them. Its unique, highly recognizable sound, at the crossing of John Kirby's
sextet, Django Reinhardt's big band works, and Count Basie and Duke Ellington's classics, in addition
to the band's endless energy on stage, have contributed to making it one of the most-demanded bands in the world of swing, with 300+ shows over the 5 last years, 4,5M streams, and more than
14.000.000 views on Youtube.
